What we collect
- Enquiries: name, company, phone, email, project details and any drawings, photos or files you upload.
- Job applications: name, contact details, role, CSCS card type, experience, message and CV.
- Analytics: if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics collects information about how you use the site (see our cookie policy).
How and why we use it (lawful basis)
- To respond to your enquiry and prepare a quote — steps taken at your request before entering a contract, and our legitimate interests in running our business.
- To consider job applications — steps taken at your request and our legitimate interests in recruiting.
- To understand website usage — your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- To meet legal, tax and insurance obligations — legal obligation.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We use trusted service providers to host this website, store form submissions and files, and (with consent) provide analytics. After a submission is saved, Web3Forms sends its details to our office by email, including private file download links that expire after 30 days. They process data only on our instructions. We may share project information with professional advisers or where required by law.
International transfers
Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't become projects are kept for up to 2 years. Project records are kept for as long as needed for contractual, warranty, tax and insurance purposes (typically 7 years, longer where required). Unsuccessful job applications are kept for up to 12 months.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, erase or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any right, email info@rcsprojects.com.
