FAQs
Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between a tamped and power-floated finish?
A tamped finish has a textured, ridged surface — ideal for external areas. Power floating mechanically smooths the slab to a dense, flat finish suitable for warehouses and internal floors.
Do you do small domestic slabs?
Yes, as well as large commercial bases. Tell us the size and use and we'll advise on the right specification.
Can you lay a slab for plant or a garden building?
Yes — we've built bases for sports clubs, the National Trust and commercial plant installations.
